Murderess: The Winnie Ruth Judd Story @ Trunk Space
Get in on one of the juiciest Phoenix murder stories of all time at this film screening Saturday, October 16, at 7:30 p.m. In case you didn't know, Phoenix resident Winnie Ruth Judd was accused of murdering two women, stuffing their bodies into trunks, and taking a train to Los Angeles in the early 1930s. The story gets better...especially when it's told by marionette puppets. Click here for details.
Dayglow @ Marquee Theatre
Reach into the back of your closet and grab your best white get-up for this night out. Dayglow promises a crazy night of dancing, music, and neon paint splatters. We're serious. Pimped as the "World's Largest Paint Party," guests will be smothered in neon paint (watch this trailer for some Girls Gone Wild -style partying). It kicks off Saturday, October 16, at 9 p.m. Click here for details.
Jackrabbit Lounge 4th Anniversary Party @ Jackrabbit Lounge
If ruining your clothes with paint isn't your style, head to the swanky Jackrabbit Lounge for their fourth birthday bash. Burlesque dancers will be on-hand and so will rapper B.o.B.. Fancy cocktails, dancing, and mingling will dominate the evening Saturday, October 16, starting at 9 p.m. without a speck of neon paint in sight (phew!). Click here for details.
