The margarita makers are primed, and the shots have been poured. It's Cinco de Mayo, and if there's one party Phoenix knows how to throw, it's this one.

With spicy food specials, drinks discounted all around town, and practically every cantina rolling out some sort of special event, it can be hard to make your celebration choice. We've selected a few of the biggest fiestas for your musical enjoyment.   

Cinco de Sandbar:

Sandbar will offer up jams at all three of its Valley locations on select nights this weekend. Another Day and the Walkens will take the stage tonight at the Chandler location (7200 West Ray Road in Chandler), with Capital Down scheduled for Saturday.

The Desert Ridge location (10050 North Scottsdale Road in Paradise Valley) will feature Island Magic and the JJs Band tonight, with Metalhead scheduled for Saturday.

Tonight the Peoria location (9868 W. Northern Avenue) features Black Bottom Lighters, the Wiley One, Catfish Mustache, Todd and Ethan and the folks from the KWSS Morning Infidelity radio program.

Salty Senorita:

Salty Senorita will offer music up at all its Valley spots, but the biggest bash will be tonight at Salty Senorita in Old Town (3636 N. Scottsdale Rd.), when Nineball, Shirley's Temple and Valley legends Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers take the stage.

Cinco de Mayo Old Town Scottsdale Block Party:

El Hefe and Marjerle's Old Town have teamed up to offer music all weekend long. Tonight, rocker Kelley James  takes the stage with Kings of Recess, DJ Masta Monk, DJ Soulman and DJ Circle.

The party continues Friday, May 6, with DJ Steel, New FO's, DJ Soloman and headliners Unwritten Law.

Saturday May 7, Kings of Recess will play again, with DJ Cutswell, DJ Diesel, a viewing of the Pacquiao/Mosley UFC fight and an appearance by Good Charlotte members Benji and Joel Madden.

Grupo Liberdade at Compound Grill:

Enjoy Grupo Liberdade's Afro-Brazilian blend of styles at The Compound Grill (7000 E. Mayo Blvd.)

Avant Garden at Desert Botanical Garden:

Enjoy a tequila tasting and music from DJ Rani "G" and Latin funk from Bata Ire at Desert Botanical Garden (1201 N. Galvin Parkway).
