Looking for something to do this Friday, Aug. 28? Two noteworthy local shows popped on our radars. First up: Rising Peoria pop-rock shaggy-haired heartthrobs Hello Hollywood will headline a show at Glendale's The Bridge with fellow West side buzz band It's Like Love (pictured), Crash Coordinates, Hey Girl Hey and A Change of Pace. The latter will treat the audience to a special acoustic performance.

If you haven't heard, It's Like Love have posted a cover of the Jackson 5's "ABC" on their MySpace page. The group is also promising to debut the cover live on Friday. And speaking of covers, Hello Hollywood posted an interesting cover of Chris Brown's "With You" on their MySpace page. Doors for this all-ages show open at 6 p.m. Presale tickets are available from the bands for $12 or you can purchase them on TicketWeb.

If you're looking for something on the East siiiiide Friday, we recommend checking out hip-hop outfit Cousins of the Wize who will headline a show at south Scottsdale's The Rogue. Idle Red and Caroline's Spine are also on the bill. Music is scheduled to kick off around 10 p.m. Cover is $8.
