Local music duo Gomi is among the first artists to participate in America's grunge revival. In fact, they're loosening the genre's boundaries by playing shows with alternative artists in addition to other grunge bands. They're even experimenting with a post-punk indie rock sound on their next album. It remains to be seen whether or not they can help call it a comeback for good ol' grunge.

What is it about The National and their way with words? The band is able to express life as they know it, to a tee. Meanwhile, "Distant Relatives" Nas and Damian Marley are the most highly discussed rap-reggae combo and one of the most eclectic acts of the year. Their tour and album is all about the spirit of - surprise - Africa.

Plus we've got show previews for The B-52's, Vince Gill, Holy Fuck, and Paul Oakenfold.
