Pressure must be mounting for the crew at the venue and Stateside Presents. They're undertaking a huge project, hosting live music nearly every single night. It's ambitious, and probably really, really stressful.

Hey, you have to unwind somehow. Why not do it by dancing your ass off?

Boomstick, Crescent's weekly DJ night, will host Valley turntabilists (and some national guests) each Thursday at 10 p.m. Comparable to Sticky Fingers at Bar Smith or The Hot Plate at Lost Leaf, Boomstick DJs spin indie, rock, electro and pretty much whatever they damn well please.

Local DJ mainstays Sean Watson, World Famous Rani G, DJentrification and Sophia Gunn have already signed on to play numerous dates, as well as Strobes, the DJ collective featuring Phoenix's reigning hipster king William "Fucking" Reed.

For a full list of events, visit Boomstick's brand spankin' new Facebook page.
