After glam rocker Adam Lambert was shunned by ABC by having performances on Good Morning America and Jimmy Kimmel Live! cancelled, the very openly gay singer is finally getting back on the station this Thursday, December 10 when he performs on the estrogen-powered The View.

Maybe it's because host Barbara Walters is in her corner. The veteran television personality named Glambert one of her "10 Most Fascinating People" of 2009, whose special airs Wednesday night on ABC.

Lambert defended his racy ABC American Music Awards performance, in which he simulated oral sex and kissed a male musician, on CBS' The Early Show. He said in the interview it's parents' responsibility to monitor what children watch and, next performance, he would probably try to stick to what he practiced in rehearsal (much of the AMA performance was improvised.)

Lambert will also appear on NBC's The Jay Leno Show December 21.
