While the two fought in a hotel room in Dallas, Texas, Samuels allegedly shoved a suitcase full of his personal belongings in Minaj's face and hit her in the lower lip after she told him she wanted him to leave the room with nothing.

Minaj tweeted that she would have basically had Samuels' balls in a twist if he actually did that and that the story is made up, but an official incident report was filed despite her insistence that she not "make a report" regarding the ruckus.

"Reporting officers observed slight swelling and redness to [Minaj]'s chin," the report said. "[Minaj's] teeth struck the inside of her lower lip, causing the inside of the lower lip to cut and start to bleed."

Nicki isn't the only musician who's been assaulted though. We've compiled a list of musicians who have had similar experiences. Here are some others have been knocked around, maced, and outright attacked.

Leona Lewis

Remember the chick who had that hit "Bleeding Love" back in 2008? A crazed fan punched her in the head at a book signing back in London in 2009. Luckily she didn't require hospitalization. Certain pop stars might make really bad music, but come on, nobody deserves to be hurt like that.

Rohan Marley

Bob Marley's son Rohan, who is also the father of Lauryn Hill's children, was choked, put in a headlock, and maced by an off-duty police officer in Los Angeles in December 2010. Marley didn't even really do anything wrong. He thought that a security guard was a valet, and the security guard took too much offense to the confusion. It was a simple mistake that he got reprimanded for in a much too intense manner.

Rihanna

You didn't think we'd forget her, did you? It's hard to forget Chris Brown beating and bruising Rihanna at the beginning of 2009. Brown faced two felony assault charges, and rightfully so. Soon after, word got out that Chris had been involved in two more domestic violence issues with Rihanna prior to the big one that we all know about. Eventually he completed his domestic violence program though, and America's opinions of him are still mixed.
