Arizona rock quintet, Man Made Machine have thrown their name in the mix of local bands making waves on the national music scene. Earlier this week, the band debuted the official music video for their first single, "Victim" Revolver Magazine's website.
The exclusive premier on "the world's loudest rock magazine" comes just days before the band hits the road with prominent rock group Fuel in support of their debut album, Become. Set to drop on September 27, the album was produced by Chad Gray and Greg Tribbett of Mudvayne and HELLYEAH. Check out the video and hear what the band has to say about it, after the jump.
"We've done smaller budget videos in the past, as well as a commercial for an Australian bank in our last band but nothing of this size as far as set size goes," vocalist Joe Cotela says. "It was shot by Dan Fusselman (Motion Army) who's done some great videos for Bless the Fall, Digital Summer and a grip of others. We shot the video at LOFT 19 out in the Glendale area. It was a great facility and we had a blast knocking it out."
The video also includes a cameo by local indie artist, Charles Barth of Saddles. "We've known him for many years and pretty much love everything he touches. He's a sexy mofo and apparently a good actor! Who would've thought," he says of Barth.
The tour kicks off August 29, in Kearney, Nebraska, marking the realization of the band's long time dream of rock stardom.
"Man Made Machine is a new band and we are grateful for the opportunity to share these shows with them (Fuel)," Cotela says. "We've all been fans for many years. I actually own two of their records and would definitely say I look up to them as songwriters and musicians."
"We just signed to Razor & Tie, released our single on iTunes, debuted the video on Revolver and our full-length record comes out everywhere September 27. Its a great way to kick things off."
