We are used to celebrities saying stupid things in interviews. Sometimes, we are even forgiving. I mean, it's difficult for someone to be "on" all the time. And I imagine that for celebrities who are constantly scrutinized by the media, and talk to the cameras/recorders frequently, it's hard to not ever make a mistake. Sure. Someone is gonna screw up something, some day. But what is to be said for John Mayer's string of asinine remarks?

In addition to his recent cover story in Rolling Stone, Playboy did an extensive interview with him where he said, "My dick is sort of like a white supremacist. I've got a Benetton heart and a fuckin' David Duke cock. I'm going to start dating separately from my dick." Okay, John. There's a limit to how much we can forgive you at once for saying jackassy things. You've passed that point.
