The Arizona Diamondbacks fell 2-9 to the Washington Nationals yesterday. The game marked the Nationals' eighth consecutive victory and a three-game sweep against the Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks open a three-game series at home against the New York Mets tonight...Arizona's bald eagle population grew by record numbers this year, partly because eagle nesting areas have been closed to the public, say officials at the Arizona Department of Game and Fish.  Bald eagles were removed from the endangered species list in 2007...The National Park Service in Bullhead City will resume its search for a man believed to have drowned in Lake Mohave on Sunday. According to witnesses, the man jumped into the water to retrieve a lost hat and was not wearing a life jacket...A growing brush fire has closed a portion of State Route 89A near Jerome. Firefighters were still battling the blaze on Monday morning. The cause of the fire is not known...LifeLock procured $40 million in financing, bringing on board a new investor in Symantec Corp., maker of Norton AntiVirus, and retaining original investors like Goldman Sachs & Co. LifeLock's CEO says the money will be used to expand the company's distribution...A Havanese dog from Gilbert named Jasmine will star in a film titled Mighty Dog Nation: The Movie, set to air Thanksgiving Day on NBC. Jasmine was one of three winners in a contest organized by Purina Mighty Dog food.
