The City of Mesa has created a series of new restrictions for massage parlors, in an attempt to crack down on parlors that may be fronts for illegal activities. Among the changes is a requirement that massage-parlor owners register their employees with the city, and work logs that detail therapists' daily activities...Valley attorney David Decosta has been arrested and charged with four felonies after police say he tried to smuggle heroin and meth to one of his clients during court proceedings. Decosta allegedly agreed to deliver the drugs to his client, a member of a Mexican Mafia prison gang, in exchange for sexual favors...Prescott Valley police and the Humboldt Unified School District are investigating accusations that a 7-year-old girl was left unattended in the nurse's office at Coyote Springs Elementary School after staff left for the weekend. The girl's mother said a janitor from the school found her daughter Friday and called her. The girl has since been moved to another school...
