The editorial staff at ABC 15 will be learning a thing or two about racial sensitivity after the station filmed a segment from Lo-Lo's Chicken and Waffles, where reporters were getting reactions to the verdict in the Trayvon Martin case.
It seemed like out of all the places to find opinions on the case, a chicken and waffles eatery may not have been the best choice, and some people certainly voiced that opinion once the segment ran on TV.

Anita Helt, the vice president and general manager of ABC 15, has since asked local black activist Jarrett Maupin II to come in to talk to the editorial staff, Maupin says.
He tells New Times he's glad the station made the choice to bring him in, and says he's bringing Reverend Luther Holland with him.
For what it's worth, the one white person ABC 15 interviewed in the restaurant agreed with the jury, which found George Zimmerman not guilty of killing the teenager. The two black people disagreed with the verdict.
Perhaps a better place to get opinions on the verdict could have been the multiple marches and protests held in Phoenix, filled with people with such strong opinions about the case that they made a public demonstration out of it.
