Turns out, he wasn't headed to Mariachi band practice, as officers found the bundle of meth wrapped in black tape, and stashed inside the accordion.

Both the meth -- valued at more than $13,000 -- and the accordion were seized, and the teenager was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.

It might not be the most creative smuggling attempt, but it's better than stuffing pounds of meth inside one of your bodily orifices.
