If you live in Phoenix, you've probably been asking yourself one thing: What do Phoenicians have in common with O.J. Simpson?

The answer: We like our Fords white.

In case you were wondering, and if you're like us, you probably weren't, Phoenicians -- as a whole -- have a color preference when they buy a car.

The most recent sales data from the Ford Motor Company shows that when Phoenicians buy a Ford, it's a white one.

The Associated Press' Detroit bureau implies that Phoenicians like white cars because of some sort of psychological association between the color white and being cool. Weather-wise.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite our friends in Detroit to come to Phoenix in mid-July, get in a white car, and tell us how cool it is.

Some of the favorites in other cities: Detroit, Kansas City, and Cincinnati residents prefer red. Philadelphians like blue, and San Franciscans prefer their hybrids to be silver.
