Last week, we asked our readers to offer suggestions for an appropriate caption for the above photo of shamed former Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas and one of his henchwomen, Rachel Alexander (who's apparently dressed as former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin) for this week's New Times' You Write the Caption contest..

We had over 60 responses in the comment section of the post, which you can see by clicking here.

We've narrowed it down to five finalists, but only one can win the grand prize: a pay-your-own-way trip to the historic New Times building, a firm handshake, and a lukewarm glass of Phoenix's municipal tap water.

The finalists are as follows:

A) Vic with "You said I'd be assistant U.S. Attorney General but all I got to show for all this is this shitty McCain badge!"

B) Coz with "Rachel, wipe that stuff off your chin, they're going to take a picture."

C) Gerry_C with "You would not adopt a dog to do your taxes and you shouldn't hire a blogger lap dog to prosecute RICO suits."

D) Gerry_C with "The MCAO Corruption Squad: If you aren't corrupt how can your recognize corruption?"

E) WhoKnows with "Andy, don't react when I grab your cock -- they only see us above the waist."
