A third person has been arrested for having sex with a German shepherd.

That German shepherd was owned by one Christopher Lynn Jackson, of Chandler, who first came to New Times' attention earlier this month upon his arrest for allegedly drugging his ex-girlfriend and branding his initials onto her vagina.

Due to that bust, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office got some information about Jackson's involvement in bestiality. The Sheriff's Office said detectives served a warrant on the 47-year-old Jackson's house and recovered videos that "clearly show" Jackson and two women "performing various sex acts with a male German shepherd."

Detectives identified one of the women, 61-year-old Josephine Erikson, several weeks ago. The other woman has been identified by the MCSO as 48-year-old Mary Kanitz, who works at a Phoenix plastic surgery office. Her name was just released after a grand jury indicted all three on bestiality charges, according to the MCSO.

Again, the only reason this bust happened is because of the branding incident.

Although the incident occurred in May, Jackson's ex-girlfriend just recently reported it to police. An examination showed that the letters "C" and "J" were still "clearly" branded to her vagina, according to court documents.

The woman told police the two of them went to a baseball game together, and after the game, Jackson wanted to go dancing. The woman told Jackson she was too tired to do that. He "offered her a pill to energize her," according to court documents.

Not feeling energized after taking the pill, Jackson gave her two more. The woman passed out shortly after taking the other two pills, according to court documents.

She woke up in Jackson's bed in severe pain, and discovered that Jackson had branded her. She said she saw Jackson with the branding equipment and butane torch, according to the documents.

The woman told police that Jackson "bragged" to her that he'd done that to other girlfriends in the past and explained to her that he wanted to do the same thing to her because "her vagina was his," court documents state.

Jackson, 49, was booked into jail on a charge of aggravated assault with serious physical injury, and was arrested again after the bestiality information came in.

Somehow, MCSO has had a bestiality case similar to this not long ago.

Detectives early last year set up a bust in which they pretended to offer a dog for sex on Craigslist, and had three takers willing to engage in the foursome.

MCSO clarified that the people in this case, who are accused of actually having sex with the dog, although individually, according to, um, video analysis.
