Governor Jan Brewer, the chief executive of the Colt Single Action Army Revolver State™, will be spending her Wednesday morning speaking at the dedication of the sacred ground known as the Tri-State Shooting Park.
Somehow, folks in Bullhead City have survived 13 years without a public shooting range, and the Arizona Game and Fish Department is heading up the dedication ceremony on Wednesday.

"The new shooting range will feature a trap and skeet range, a 200-yard pistol and rifle shooting range, and a 50-yard pistol range when construction is complete," according to the Game and Fish announcement. "The dedication will feature an Honor Guard Presentation of Colors, remarks by dignitaries and other guests, and a ceremonial ribbon-shooting."
As a reminder, they're not talking about the opening of a children's hospital or welcoming troops home from tours overseas, they're talking about the grand opening of a shooting range in the middle of nowhere -- Game and Fish gave coordinates for people who need directions from a navigation system (34" 59' 39.45" N and 114" 28' 57.60" W).
According to Brewer's public schedule, she'll spend the rest of Wednesday in Kingman, first giving another state of the state address, then speaking at the Mohave County Republican Forum, which is at an Elks Lodge.
