Tick-tock...

Kid-killing child molester Richard Bible is set to be put to death in just hours for the 1988 murder of a 9-year-old girl.

Richard Bible is set to die at 11 a.m. after losing all of his appeals. He's been on Death Row for more than 20 years.

Bible was convicted in the 1988 murder of Jennifer Wilson. While the little girl was on vacation with her family in Flagstaff, Bible kidnapped her, molested her, and then bludgeoned her to death.

Bible never admitted guilt.

Yesterday, the United States Supreme Court denied his request for a stay of execution.

On Tuesday, the Ningh U.S Circuit Court of Appeals also denied Bible's request for a stay of execution. His lawyers argue that he should not be put to death until hairs found at the crime scene used against him at trial undergo DNA testing.

On Monday, Arizona's clemency board also denied Bible's request for a stay, noting in its decision that he's "the worst of the worst."

As noted by the Arizona Republic, Wilson murder wasn't Bible's first act of violence.

From the Republic:

In 1981, when he was 19, Bible was drinking on Sheep Hill in Flagstaff with his 17-year-old female cousin and they talked about a trip they planned to Sedona for the next day. All of a sudden, Bible tied her up, cut off her clothes with a knife and sexually assaulted her in the back of his pickup truck. He went to prison for six years, and while there, according to court testimony, he told a counselor that he would never again make the mistake of letting a victim testify against him. He may have kept his promise.

Bible was out of prison a year when Jennifer Wilson was murdered.
