Phoenix police say a man was killed on New Year's Eve after being accidentally shot by his sister, who was playing with a gun while the two were posing for photos.
Judging by the previous photo to the right of now-deceased 22-year-old Manuel Ortiz, this situation is not incredibly hard to believe.

In fact, that's just one of several Facebook pictures involving Ortiz and guns willingly held to his own head.
Ortiz's sister, 19-year-old Savannah Ramirez, has not been charged in her brother's death, although Phoenix police Sergeant Steve Martos tells New Times this afternoon that charges are still pending, and the investigation into Ortiz's death hasn't been completed.
Despite reports that state the pictures Ramirez and Ortiz were posing for were intended to be posted to Facebook, Martos said police don't know what the purpose of the pictures was. Still, Facebook seems plausible, given the number of similar photos already on Ortiz's Facebook page.
Although police couldn't confirm to us that Ramirez and Ortiz are involved in gangs, there's also a Facebook photo for that.
If we're to believe Ortiz's Facebook friends, they are from the 31st Avenue chapter of "Wetback Power."
Alcohol may have played a role in this accidental shooting, so we'll keep you posted on any updates in this case, including possible charges against Ramirez.
