UPDATE: Call off the dogs -- the Phoenix Police Department says Jesus Licon turned up at Valley hospital and is in good physical condition.

The Phoenix Police Department is asking the public's help in tracking down a missing old guy last seen yesterday.

Jesus Licon, 87, was last seen yesterday by his son near West 26th Avenue and North Polk Street. Police say he wandered off on foot.

Licon, as is often the case when old people are reported missing, has Alzheimer's Disease.

Phoenix P.D. Sergeant Trent Crump says Licon has wandered off in the past and usually located near 35th Avenue and Van Buren.

Licon, Crump says, only speaks Spanish.

He's described as about 5-foot-7, 120-130 pounds, with hazel eyes and gray hair.

Licon was last seen wearing a gray jacket, black t-shirt, brown pants, and black dress shoes.

If you've seen Licon, or know where he might be, call the Phoenix P.D.'s missing persons unit at 602 534 2121.
