Thanksgiving is just around the corner and while some home chefs have probably already planned their whole menu, the less culinarily-inclined are quickly running out of time to plan. Luckily, there are plenty of Phoenix restaurants offering everything from gourmet Turkey Day buffets to take-out dinners fit for a king.
Pre-Ordered Meals To-Go
Pick up a smoked turkey from Bobby-Q from now until Wednesday, November 25. The 12 to 15-pound turkeys will feed two to four people, and can be purchased a la carte for $55, or packed with a quart of mashed potatoes, fire-roasted corn, smoked walnut stuffing, a pint of gravy, and eight cornbreads for $75. Turkeys must be ordered seventy-two hours in advance of pick up, and come with re-heating instructions. Chompie's is helping to make Thanksgiving a little easier by offering whole oven-roasted turkeys, pies, and coursed-meal packages for pre-order. Made the same day as scheduled pick up, Chompie's Thanksgiving feast comes with reheating instructions and are ready to serve within thirty minutes. The Traditional Full Meal Package, which serves 12 to 15 people costs $189.99, while an extra large whole oven-roasted turkey costs $89.99, or $114.95 pre-carved. Homemade pies, stuffing, matzo ball soup, and string bean almondine are also available. JW Marriott Desert Ridge
JW Marriott Desert Ridge's Thanksgiving feast offers an herb roasted turkey with house-made cranberry sauce, honey cured ham with bourbon maple glaze, and side dishes such as a baby greens salad, garden sage cornbread stuffing, whipped Yukon gold potatoes with turkey gravy, candied yams, green bean casserole with fried onions, roasted brussels sprouts, and fresh baked rolls. Thanksgiving dinner costs $149 for two to four people, and $239 for six to eight, and will be ready for pick up on Thanksgiving day.
