As of today, Central Phoenix has a new destination for pork chops, beef tongue pastrami, and handcrafted drinks. The new lunch, dinner, and late-night dining spot is called Stock & Stable and is located inside The Colony at 5538 North Seventh Street in uptown Phoenix.
The highly anticipated restaurant features the talents of chef Joe Absolor, formerly of The Clever Koi, and mixologist Stephanie Teslar, formerly of Hotel Palomar. In the upcoming months, Stock & Stable will also be complemented by the opening of Honor Amongst Thieves, a speakeasy-inspired bar that will be located above the restaurant.
Named as a nod to the nearby Murphy Bridle Path, Stock & Stable will focus on using local ingredients to create hearty, American fare. Featured local vendors will include Noble Bread and Lux Central, which will provide pastries and desserts. The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner seven days a week, plus weekend brunch, and industry hour with late-night food options.
