The countdown is officially on.

In less than three weeks, New Times will host its first Sips and Sweets event at The Vintage 45 in downtown Phoenix. We've already told you some of the participating bakers, bartenders, and chefs, and now we're ready to announce the final lineup.

Attendees can look forward to cocktails from 10 of the Valley's best mixologists and desserts from about two dozen local pastry chefs, pie makers, chocolatiers, and culinary talents. General-admission tickets, which cost $25 in advance, include entry; unlimited sweets samples; 10 samples of cocktails, beer, and wine; and access to the handcrafted vendor village. If you want to go all out, VIP admission, which costs $40 in advance, includes all of the general admission perks, plus one hour early entry into the event at 2 p.m. and a special gift bag.
