Boulders on Southern Summer Beer Fest

The Boulders on Southern Summer Beer Fest is back. From noon to 4 p.m., guests can enjoy rare craft brews at Boulders on Southern restaurant in Mesa. Some of the beers you can taste at the event will include Freak'N Creme Brulee, St. Bernardus Abt 12, and Lagunitas Lucky 13. And what pairs well with beer? Cornhole, of course. Cooking Class With Jamburritos Chef Michael Brown

Meet, shop, and cook with the chef, founder, and owner of Jamburritos, Chef Michael J. Brown, this Saturday at Phoenix Public Market. During the class, he'll show you how to make recipes using fresh and local ingredients. You'll tour the farmers market to get ingredients and create a menu to cook. Handcrafted in collaboration with Phoenix's syrup gurus at the Iconic Cocktail Co., the special one-day-only (non-alcoholic) flavor will be available from 2 to 5 p.m. This specific flavor is made with the leaves of locally-grown citrus that have been distilled into a herbal tonic and then mixed with dairy products and chilled to create the frozen treat. Carlson Creek Vineyard Opens Second Scottsdale Tasting Room

Wilcox winery Carlson Creek Vineyard is celebrating the opening of its second Scottsdale tasting room this weekend. Carlson will be pouring its entire wine catalog in addition to exclusive vintages normally only available to its Wine Society members. Guests who wear Carlson Creek branded apparel to the tasting room this weekend will receive a complimentary tasting. The new space is located at 4142 North Marshall Way in Scottsdale, and includes bistro table and couch seating, an education room for private wine tastings and events, and retail space for wine (of course) and the vineyard's own Arizona wine T-shirt line and glassware.
