We'd gladly accept a free house no matter the location or IQ — but a stylish, tech-savvy home in Scottsdale? Even better.

That's what you'll get if you're the winner of this year's HGTV Smart Home.

Planned by local architecture firm Candelaria Design Associates, constructed by local builder Eagle Luxury Properties, and designed by HGTV interior designer and host Tiffany Brooks, this prize property features a tranquil 3,300-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom ranch home with desert views in one of the Valley's most sought-after areas.

Along with the house and its decor and furnishings, the winner will also receive a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE 550e 4MATIC and $100,000. The prizes will be awarded this summer.

You can enter to win twice a day at HGTV.com, and the contest is open until 5 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, June 2. Eligible viewers can enter twice a day at HGTV.com, where you'll also find details and sweepstakes rules.

Fancy car and gobs of cash aside, the design-savvy house and its many amenities are plenty exciting. Here are the top four reasons we like it.

In addition to its many gadgets and gizmos, the home has a three-car garage, home office, pantry and laundry area, a pool, and this oversized wet bar.

The wet bar
A far cry from the wet bars of decades past, this one is inviting, it seats three, and is large enough to invite a small soiree. Plus, there's a Dacor Discovery WineStation, an automated, temperature controlled, four-bottle wine dispensing and preservation system that lets guests select their favorite wine and pour as much or as little as they please.

The home is Energy Star 3 certified and Bronze-level Green certified. Its Samsung Family Hub Smart Refrigerator exceeds Energy Star ratings.

The personal assistant
What if your refrigerator could take a photo of its contents and send said photo to your phone? Maybe it could coordinate everyone’s schedule, leave notes and reminders, stream music, and display pictures, too. This home has the Samsung’s Family Hub Smart Refrigerator, which does all this, and — indeed — more.

The fur-babysitter
The home also has PetCube, a camera that lets you see, talk to, and (sorta) play with your pet when you’re not home. For a good laugh, engage its moving laser from your smartphone.

The next-gen southwest style
Interior designer Brooks' interpretation of Southwest style is crisp, modern, and warm. Taking cues from the Sonoran desert, she incorporated stone, metal, wood, leather, glass, and local artistry to yield a bright and simple style that is both energetic and relaxing.
