Dying Every Day: Meditation, Transformation, and the Bardos

A one-day workshop offering practical insights into impermanence, meditation, death, and transformation with best-selling author Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche. His teachings will draw from personal experience as chronicled in his new book, IN LOVE WITH THE WORLD: A Monk’s Journey through the Bardos of Living and Dying. For many Tibetans, the bardos mark the stages from death to rebirth, but they can also be understood as an inner journey of the mind, marking the “in-between” periods in our own process of becoming more fully who we truly are. Rinpoche will reveal lessons he learned from his near-death experience and guide attendees through the meditation practices that sustained him. Rinpoche will show how we can all train our minds and transform our fears and the small deaths we face each day into joyful living. The day will include periods of teaching, discussion, and short periods of meditation. This event is suitable for anyone with an interest in meditation or Tibetan Buddhism. tergar.org/phoenix
