Joyride Taco House is the latest venture from Upward Concepts, with locations in Phoenix and Gilbert. It features a funky and welcoming décor, a happy vibe, and friendly service, but the food doesn’t live up to the scene. Tacos, the backbone of the menu, consistently fall flat. Sidewalk Surfer Chilaquiles were the highlight, and the guacamole is respectable. Cocktails are another highlight, but it’s the atmosphere, not the food, that will keep you coming back.
