There's nothing fancy about Nick's. But who needs fancy when you can get superb homemade pastas and outstanding pizzas at wallet-friendly prices? Both the fettuccine with sausage and gnocchi smothered with Gorgonzola are remarkable. So are the pizzas, with their wonderfully thin, chewy crusts and vigorous toppings. The white-chocolate tartufo is a sweet way to finish up.
