I realize Art Detour, the annual weekend-long downtown art event, is a way's off. The spectator's portion of the weekend doesn't happen until March 7th and 8th. But, if you want to be a participant this 21st year of Art Detour, you better get on it.

As of last week, the application for artists and galleries is on-line at Artlink's website and includes way more details than I care to map out on this blog. The basic idea is that if you have a studio or gallery downtown, you can apply and pay a fee to be included in Artlink's Art Detour brochure.

Or, if you're an artist who doesn't fall into either of the categories above and you want to show your stuff, you can apply to be a "Mystery Gallery". Sounds pretty sexy...check out the application for details on that one.
