It's black Friday. How could I blog about anything else but shopping?
Now, I'm not the type to hit a mall on a day like today. Or most days, for that matter.
But I do love to shop. And I have to say that there's nothing like a museum gift shop. Every time I go to a museum, I can't resist poking around; checking out their original jewelry, housewares and little artsy trinkets. Which is how I stumbled upon Ugly Dolls. And now gift giving for my nieces is real easy - they go nuts for those things.

Easy shopping for presents is really the way to go. Which is why heading up to the Heard Museum North Scottsdale sometime today, tomorrow or Sunday is probably in your best interest. At their event, "Ornaments and Adornments", the gift shop is spilling over with holiday goodies: wreaths, books, ornaments and jewelry all made by Native artists. I mean, just look at this little guy here...
...so effing cute!
