Arty Girl: SMoCA's Half Price Holiday Admission

Of course, this was on my "to blog" list at the very beginning of December but other arty events forced me to shove this one aside. It's so sad when that happens.

The good news is, this blog will stay relevant for exactly 17 more days.

Why? Well, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art is offering half price admission for the month of December. Rates are now $3.50 for adults and $2.50 for students. And they are still keeping their Thursdays free.

How generous!

Actually, they're reducing the rate because the museum is busy setting up their January exhibitions. So, right now, there are only two shows available (Unexpected Wegman and southwestNET: Looking Through the Other End of a Telescope).

So maybe "generous" isn't the word...

How appropriate!

Yes, that's more like it.
