Coming Soon: Shotgun Betty's Rock & Roll Saloon in Scottsdale

Is cowboy-chic fever gripping Old Town Scottsdale's nightlife?

One might think so, given the impending arrival of Shotgun Betty's Rock & Roll Saloon later this month. The Western-esque club, located in the Stetson Drive space that used to house Drinx, is scheduled to open on February 26, mere weeks after the unveiling of Steve McDonald's Revolver Lounge.

With similarly themed joints Saddle Ranch Chophouse and the Rusty Spur Saloon only blocks away, there's soon to be no shortage of places in Old Town to cowboy up.

As I blogged a few weeks ago, Skin Cabaret owner Todd Borowsky is behind the establishment, which reportedly will feature a spin on the Coyote Ugly concept of hot waitresses dancing on bars.

And if you're the sort of cowgirl who's game to do that sorta thing for a living, Shotgun Betty's will be holding a "hiring clinic" on February 10-13 at the club, which is located at 7330 East Stetson Drive. Managers, security types, and bartending staff are also sought, and the job fair runs from 3 to 6 p.m. each day.

Don't forget your boots.
