Albert Lineses III has the sort of career that most club DJs would envy. As his alter ego AL3, the renowned selector not only was a huge player in the Latin dance scene for more than a decade but also spun sounds on some of the bigger radio stations in the Valley. If that wasn't enough to make him a hometown hero, the dude has become a regular at a slew of Las Vegas spots, including the Marquee Nightclub, Tao, and LAX. Oh, yeah, and he's also been the UFC's official mixmaster since 2009 and has DJ'd at many of its pay-per-views and other events for the past four years. Although his upcoming schedule is packed with big-time gigs, Lineses will set aside his Thump Days over the next few months to serve as one of the residents of the new Thursday Ladies Night at Bar Smith, 130 East Washington. The weekly dance party kicks off on Thursday, September 12, and will feature Lineses and his longtime Ritmo Latino cohort DJ Nerd working the decks and dropping the sort of uptempo Latin hits and EDM tracks that are sure to get things moving.
