Looks like the Coachella runoff just keeps on...uh...running off. Florence and the Machine, scheduled to play the Indio Festival on Sunday April 15 and 22, is making a side trip over to Comerica Theatre on Friday, April 20.

2011 was big for singer Florence Welsh -- her sophomore album, Ceremonials, debuted at number one on charts in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, and did pretty good here in the States as well, debuting on top of Billboard's Rock Albums, Digital Albums, and Alternative Albums charts.

Her November 20 performance on Saturday Night Live certainly helped, and unlike that recent performance by Lana del Rey, didn't earn Welsh the Brian Williams.

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 27th at 10 a.m. at Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and the Comerica box office.
