We've always thought Geisha A Go Go, 7150 East Sixth Avenue in Scottsdale, was a pretty fly place, as the Tokyo-style bar and lounge boasts such ultra-colorful touches as clamorous pachinko machines, cartoonish cocktails, and huge pictures of rock stars like Jim Morrison and Sid Vicious behind its bar. Now the Asian-themed joint's gotten much groovier with its new Sunday-night party, Funk Shui. Every week, a turntablism trio consisting of DJ Roach (of Phunk Junkeez fame), Mos Jef, and Tricky T will spin a scintillating selection of hip-hop, Top 40, and other jams. Drinks such as Sapporo bombers and shochu cocktails are also half-price during the affair. The beats start blasting at 10 p.m. and there's no cover. Call 480-699-0055.
