Is This It? Eight Songs to Listen to While Waiting for Coachella's 2012 Lineup Announcement

Coachella's full lineup should be announced sometime this week. Last Friday, the festival tweeted a picture that read "Next Week" with the hashtag #Coachella2012. There's already been some speculation with fake fliers and what not, but the official lineup will be announced any day now. LA Times predicts January 22 or 23, but for all we know, the lineup could be announced today. So far, Araabmuzik, Azealia Banks, Housse de Racket, and Jimmy Cliff have all been confirmed.

But we want to know the whole thing. So we've turned to artists that played the festival in 2011 for a few key lyrics to describe our longing to know who we'll be spending the weekend(s) with in 2012.

The Black Keys- Countdown "Well you stole my heart and damn near drove me mad." It only takes one Coachella to get hooked. The Black Keys - Countdown by alivenaturalsound

Chromeo- Waiting 4 U "These one of a kind thoughts are goin' through my mind, and you don't know anything about it." There's nothing quite like Coachella.

Cut Copy- Time Stands Still "Time stands still when I think of you." Yeah, this wait is painfully long. The Radio Dept.- Why Won't You Talk About It? "I'm losing, I'll lose my mind." Why not share the lineup already?

The Kills- Wait "Why do you say wait," Goldenvoice?

The Strokes- Is This It" "Can't you see I'm trying? I don't even like it." We're impatient people. The Strokes - Is This It by Thomas Bangoura

Jimmy Eat World - Feeling Lucky "There's a chance, one of us will give in soon. I could ask, but what's an answer gonna prove?" An answer will dictate whether or not it's worthwhile to buy a ticket.

Arcade Fire- We Used to Wait Hopefully by the end of the week we can make plans to hang out in "the wilderness downtown."
