Just Announced: David Archuleta, Authority Zero, Modest Mouse, Bruce Springsteen

Most of this week's big announcements were already up here earlier this week when they broke -- Modest Mouse, Bruce Springsteen -- but we do have a few surprises on the next page. Like David Archuleta, the American Idol contestant who was too devoutly Mormon to sing the first verse of "Imagine" at the Marquee. Should be interesting.

By the way, my friend Jess Harter pointed that Bruce Springsteen is the same night as the opening of Tempe Music Fest and the second night of Country Thunder. What am I covering? Well, I guess that depends on who's playing TMF (lineup, please!) but I sure hope to be able to support that instead of seeing that old goat Bruce Springsteen. As I've written before, it's a crime he's playing the Super Bowl this weekend, and I don't look forward to seeing him Sunday, or in April.
