There's definitely something special about carnival rides and deep-fried foods that brings out the inner kid in all of us. I still remember living near 19th Avenue and Grant in Phoenix, about three miles south of the Arizona State Fairgrounds, and during that cool time of the year I would walk to the greatest show on earth every single day till it ended. The fair was where I saw the smallest man in the world, the biggest snake on earth, the man who eats fire -- who could forget attractions like that?
Fair time just seems to bring everyone together, which is why I'm excited to invite you and the entire family to my special performance in southern Arizona at the Pima County Fair.
On Sunday, April 21, I will be spending the day eating corn dogs and cotton candy and maybe sampling some homemade fudge just before I take the stage for my 4 p.m. set; after all, what fun is a day on the fairgrounds without going "bananas" on some tasty treats?

The Pima County Fair runs for 10 days beginning April 18, and in addition to all the livestock, the pie contest, art displays, and every type of food you can imagine, the fair offers a great lineup of entertainment for just about every taste in music.

Friday, April 19: Catch the Silversun Pickups with their widescreen brand of rock 'n' roll at 8 p.m.
Saturday, April 20: The fair offers something for the classic rock lovers with KLPX FEST starring Skid Row, Warrant, and L.A. Guns
Sunday, April 21: I'll be sharing entertainment duties with the Kumbia Kings as they deliver the A.B. Quintanilla Jr. productions that have become cult classics in the Southwest.
Wednesday, April 24: Frontman Jeff Keith brings his legendary band Tesla to the main stage.
Thursday, April 25: All my hip-hop fans will be excited to catch Young Money recording artist Tyga blessing the stage on Thursday, delivering songs like "Rack City," "Make it Nasty," and his latest success, "Dope."
Friday, April 26: Hollywood Undead takes the stage.
For the closing weekend, catch country artist Easton Corbin delivering his melodies, which include his hit "All Over the Road." And closing night is sure to be on fire, thanks to Larry Hernandez's brand of musica norteña, which varies from narcocorridos to love songs like his brand new single "Dame Tu Amor."
The best part of the Pima County Fair: All concerts are free with paid gate admission.
In the 10 days it brings the fairgrounds to life, Pima County Fair will deliver a solid punch of goodness to music fans all over Southern Arizona. Make plans to attend or simply pass on the info to friends and family in the areas of Tucson, Marana, Sierra Vista, and of course my fans and familia close to the Nogales border where I was born.
