February was most certainly a busy month for the Club Candids crew. Each and every week, we hit up hot nightspots and dance joints in both Tempe and Scottsdale and grabbed snaps of some of the mass revelry that was taking place within. And believe us, there was a lot of celebrating going on.
For instance, we kicked off the month by traveling into the midst of an absolutely off-the-chain Seattle Seahawks party happening during Super Bowl XLVIII at American Junkie. Then, it was a back-to-back rager at neighboring Tempe spots Zuma and the Mill Cue Club, followed by a chance to hang with hip-hop personality Fatman Scoop at Maya in Scottsdale and a visit to the newly opened Cake Nightclub in Scottsdale.

Seattle Seahawks Party at American Junkie
If you're one of the legion of Seattle Seahawks fanatics across the nation, you probably did a lot of celebrating on Sunday, February 2, as the NFL team kicked the crap out of the Denver Broncos to win Super Bowl XLVIII. But if you're one of the legion of Seattle Seahawks fans in Scottsdale, you might have got in much celebrating at American Junkie on that fateful Sunday, as the Old Town bar was the site of a big-time party in honor of the team. Club Candids checked out the major rager and witnessed mass revelry, spraying champagne, and other football festivities.
Zuma Grill & Mill Cue Club in Tempe
While most nightclubs in downtown Tempe go cold and dark on a Monday night, the scene down at neighboring spots Zuma Grill and the Mill Cue Club is plenty lively. DJs like Tranzit and Mattafact keep things popping and instigating much drinking and dancing inside Zuma while the patrons of the cue club next door get their pool on at multiple billiards tables. The Club Candids crew witnessed such scenes when it stopped by on Monday, February 10.
Fatman Scoop at Maya Day & Nightclub
When renowned hip-hop promoter and radio personality Fatman Scoop takes over a club for a special DJ gig, he really takes over. So much so that when he guest-starred at Maya Day and Nightclub's most recent Sunday Phunday party on Sunday, February 16, the larger-than-life hip-hopper dominated the sound system with choice jams, grabbed the house mic on multiple occasions to act as his own hype man, and even wrangled the Club Candids cameras to follow him around the club to grab impromptu selfies with many in attendance. No, seriously.
Cake Nightclub in Scottsdale
Change seems to be the ever-present spirit in Scottsdale's nightlife scene. To wit: The Saddlebag Trail spot that formerly housed EPIQ got new owners who completely transformed the space into the beyond-posh ultra lounge known as Cake Nightclub, which recently opened its doors to the party monster crowd. It rocks the upscale look of a French chateau with a swanky bacchanal vibe mixed with influences of Marie Antoinette and Moulin Rogue.
When Club Candids came by on Friday, February 21, for a slice of Cake, we witnessed the sexy staff adorned in corsets and maid outfits wandering about the premises offering eye-candy thrills while aerialists swung from rings hanging from the ceiling and guest DJs worked the mixers.
