This week, a cancer-faker pleads guilty to molesting a boy, a former youth pastor gets prison for molesting a boy, two more child abusers have their day in court, and more:
- Jennifer Dempsey pleads guilty to molestation charges
Jennifer Dempsey, a 35-year-old Phoenix resident, pleaded guilty to molestation of a child, attempted sexual conduct with a minor, and sexual conduct with a minor. According to Phoenix police, Dempsey, 35, lied about her age to teenage boys she had sex with, then lied about being pregnant, and for the past five years, she's been lying about having cancer. Detectives discovered that Dempsey had met a pair of teenage boys -- ages 14 and 16 -- on Facebook, and eventually had sex with them. She will be sentenced on October 22nd at 8:30am in front of Judge Pamela Svoboda.

- Ambreatte Daniels pleads guilty to child abuse
Dani Mayo died at the age of 3 from injuries after suffering months of abuse at the hands of her step-father, 22-year-old Corey Daniels. Dani's final beating came in October 2011, when Daniels admittedly beat the girl because she didn't want to eat a hot dog. As her husband continuously beat her daughter, police say the girl's mother, Ambreatte Daniels, knew of the abuse, and even documented it with photos on her cell phone. Daniels pleaded guilty to a child-abuse charge. Her next court date is a status conference on November 21.

- Jasmine Brown, former youth minister, gets prison time for molestation
Browns was sentenced to 10 years in prison and lifetime probation, and he must also register as a sex offender. Brown pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and one count of molestation of a child. The former youth minister at the Family of God Christian Fellowship in Apache Junction told police in late 2011 the 12-year-old male victim initiated the sexual contact at a church camp.

- Daniel Gray pleads not guilty to charges in child's death
Daniel Gray pleaded not-guilty to charges related to the death of his 3-month-old son in late August. Phoenix police said Gray didn't realize for several hours that he left his 3-month-old son in a hot car, even though he was smoking weed right next to the car at one point.

- Daniel Griffith pleads guilty to murder
Glendale resident Daniel Griffith pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, concealment of a dead body, and fraudulent use of a credit card. Police said Griffith killed a man his wife was having an affair with, with his wife's assistance. Griffith burned the man's body in the desert, and used his credit cards to buy things for himself afterwards. Judge Rosa Mroz set sentencing for October 17 at 10:30 am.
