Yesterday, a fairly large deal was made of Senator John McCain playing what appeared to be poker on his iPhone during a Senate committee hearing on military action in Syria.
War, war, war, blah blah blah, I'll raise you five bucks , boots on the ground, war, missile strikes.
McCain didn't really care that he got busted, either, as he tweeted, "Scandal! Caught playing iPhone game at 3+ hour Senate hearing - worst of all I lost!"
Hm. We were always taught to pay attention when someone's talking about killing people (read the Washington Post's account of the hearing here).
What do you think? Does it matter if McCain plays on his phone during hearings? It's hard to imagine it's the first time.
