Drunk driving is bad.
With that out of the way, here's where police will be setting up "saturation patrols" around the Valley, looking for impaired drivers this weekend:
- Wednesday through Saturday: From 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., Phoenix police will have saturation patrols in six precincts, based near 27th Avenue and Thunderbird Road, 16th Street and Highland Road, 40th Street and Greenway Road, 16th Street and I-17, Central Avenue and Broadway Road, and 51st Avenue and I-10.

- Saturday: The East Valley DUI Task Force will be in Glendale from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. The listed address is near Elliot Road and McQueen Road.

- Saturday: The West Valley DUI Task Force will be in Avondale from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. The listed address is near Thomas Road and Dysart Road.

- Now until the end of the year: The Salt River Police Department will be patrolling around the border with Scottsdale, near Pima Road and Chaparral Road, from 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
