The 2019 Devour Culinary Classic – part of Devour Week – is returning to the Desert Botanical Garden on Saturday, February 23, and Sunday, February 24. The award-winning (which includes being a Best of Phoenix 2018 winner) culinary event is celebrating its 10th anniversary by showcasing beloved Valley chefs and holding special events like the Devour Bartending Competition and Devour the World.
The Devour Culinary Classic announced its 2019 chefs lineup in October, which features Tamara Stanger (Cotton & Copper), Silvana Salcido Esparza (Barrio Cafe), Lori Hashimoto (Hana Japanese Eatery), and James Porter (Terra Farm + Manor) as the four VIP chefs. Other heavy hitters include Aaron Chamberlin, Justin Beckett, Stephen Jones (the larder + the delta), Helen Yung (Sweet Republic), and more.
Tickets are on sale now for the 2019 Devour Culinary Classic. The Tasting Package is $105 for a one-day general admission – and only for Sunday as Saturday is sold out. The new VIP package is $205, and offers early admission and an “immersive experience” in the 2019 Devour VIP Dorrance Hall Lounge.
Tickets for the Devour Bartending Competition on Sunday, February 17, at Portland Parkway Park are $40, and tickets for Devour the World on Thursday, February 21, at the Japanese Friendship Garden are $75.
