You Can Trade a Bra for a Pre-Roll Joint at The Mint

The Mint Dispensary's location in Tempe.

Bring a bra to The Mint between now and Friday, October 15, and get a free pre-roll joint.

The cannabis dispensary chain wants to increase breast cancer awareness and raise funds for local breast cancer nonprofit Check for a Lump. Customers 21 and older who donate a new or gently used bra at a Mint Dispensary location will receive a free pre-roll. Customers who donate ten or more bras get a breast cancer awareness T-shirt (limit one free pre-roll and one free T-shirt per customer per day).

Donated bras will be given to Check for a Lump, which receives cash for every bra donated. The goal of the fundraiser, which began August 27, is to collect a minimum of 4,200 bras.

The Mint is also donating $1 from the sale of every pre-roll to Check for a Lump, in addition to sharing information about and encouraging participation in the nonprofit’s Pink Out 5K run on Saturday, October 2 at Steele Indian School Park.

The American Cancer Society projects 5,850 new cases of female breast cancer in Arizona in 2021, with 900 estimated deaths. Breast cancer screenings and support services can help find and treat cancer in early stages and increase the chances of survival. The Mint is hosting mobile breast cancer screenings in partnership with Check for a Lump on Saturday, September 18 at its dispensary at 17036 N. Cave Creek Road, and on Saturday, October 9 at its dispensary at 330 E. Southern Avenue in Mesa. Pre-register for a screening by calling 480-967-3767 or 800-285-0272.
