This week's installment of the Out Far! Quarterly Film series promises to be anything but a drag. Dress like a character from the evening's feature presentation -- The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert -- for a chance to win a Vegas "Desert Adventure," including two tickets to Zumanity, Another Side of Cirque du Soleil and accommodations at the New York, New York Hotel. New exhibit at Paper Heart

When Shari Boulanger planned her bachelorette party, she went a slightly different route. Instead of strippers and bar night, Boulanger is throwing an art show to celebrate her nuptials to Erma Bombeck's son, Andy.
Like any wedding present, the bride hasn't seen most of the exhibit yet. "I like the idea of being surprised," she says. One artist, Ruth Davis, spearheaded a collaborative project, asking people to submit six-foot cloth vows. "It was whatever a vow means to them," says Davis, who says there are about 25 vows to hang on the huppah-like canopy.
About 20 artists participated in the exhibit, says Boulanger, including herself. "Sometimes you have these ideas and you think they're great and no one else thinks so," Boulanger says. "But people really got into it."
"White Lace, Promises and Big Black Dogs" opens at 7 p.m. Friday, December 5, at the Paper Heart, 222 North Fifth Avenue.
