We promise that youre not going to find a more wrecked band out there these days.
Hailing from the noise-punk/experimental-music epicenter of the world Vancouver, British Columbia Shearing Pinx is a three-piece noise-punk ensemble that fills every available space with distorted guitar and general fucked-up-ness, and sometimes with a strangely catchy pop sensibility. The trio was first heard locally a few years back when James Fella released the brilliant Poison Hands on his Tempe-based Gilgongo Records. Since then, numerous tape efforts on labels such as Night People as well as the Weaponry full-length LP on Divorce Records have continued to showcase the bands sonic awesomeness.
