While many American Idol finalists go on to Z-list fame — anyone remember Nicki McKibbin, who graced the cast of VH1's Celebrity Rehab? — former American Idol fourth-place finisher Chris Daughtry has proved his star isn't in danger of falling anytime soon. Daughtry, who sold over 5 million copies of his debut album and is a radio fixture with infectious rock jams like "It's Not Over" and "Feels Like Tonight," is busy packing arenas and cranking out angst-filled anthems. Rumor has it that the charismatic frontman is even throwing in a couple of covers on this tour, including — spoiler alert — Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight" and Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell." Love him or hate him, Daughtry clearly isn't going away, proving he has more staying power than Jesse James and Sandra Bullock's marriage or a Ruben Studdard diet. Lifehouse, who collaborated with Daughtry on a track off their new disc, Smoke and Mirrors, will open the show along with Cavo.
