Sure, doing anything for a good cause sounds rewarding in theory, but if lacing up your running shoes and signing up for a charity race sounds a bit too overzealous for a lazy weekend, then why not try adding a little booze and bikes to that charitable feeling?
Ride-Rock-N-Rescue is a new organization dedicated to supporting local causes while participating in some of our favorite pastimes. The bar crawl with a bleeding heart will roll out of Fibber Magees in Mesa and hit three local bars, the last of which will host a live band. Ten percent of the earnings from each bar will go to RESCUE, a no-kill animal shelter that relies on donations, and Ear Candy, an organization that supports musical education for young students.
