On Friday, Sticky Fingers, one of Phoenix's most notorious weekly dance parties, will feature Liverpudlian renaissance man Reuben Wu on the turntables. Valley residents may be wondering, "Reuben who?" Reuben Wu, that's who.

Seussian nonsense aside, Mr. Wu might be best known for his role as founding member and keyboardist in the celestial electro-pop quartet Ladytron. The busy Brit is also a prodigious photographer whose portfolio is jam-packed with imagery that's every bit as otherworldly as his sonic aspirations. (Check out some of his stunning shots at www.reubenwu.com.) Needless to say, the man also knows his way around a turntable, and if his uncanny ability to lure the senses toward transcendence, both visually and aurally, is any indication, he'll have Sticky regulars in a heavenly frenzy in no time.
