The election's over, the weather's rub-it-in-the-faces-of-snowy-states perfect, and some Harvard dudes sent a flippin' hamburger into space. What better way to celebrate with some wine, some walkin', and some more wine -- all urban-style, natch.

The sixth Urban Wine Walk will happen from 1 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 10. Featuring 16 restaurants offering up wallet-friendly wine samples and snacks along the Central Corridor and in downtown Phoenix, this light-rail-friendly event means taking in the sights (and the spirits) car-free.
What do you need to score a free 2013 Urban Wine Walk souvenir glass, triple-chocolate whoopie pie, or a sample of vino made from Maui-grown pineapples? Three items: a map, a light-rail pass, and an ID (walkers must be 21 and over to participate.)
Here's one of those three items. Plus, a list of participating restaurants.
Since Saturday's Urban Wine Walk walkers can take charge of their own destiny by picking a starting point and then letting it roll from there, having a plan means getting to the best spots first.
For a map and list of the participants and what they're offering, check out this Google map page. For more details about the event, go to the Urban Wine Walk website.
